(c) the particular or general appointment

ofany officer of the Fort Trust to take

proceedings against any person;

(a) the powers of any officer to prosecute or take

proceedings;

(e) the fact that any particular matter or place is

within the jurisdiction of the Port Trust.

(f) the fact that the defendant is, or at any

relevant time was, the owner or occupier of any

land in question;

(g) the fact that the defendant is, or at any

relevant time was, the owner or in possession,

control, or in charge of anything in question;

(h) the fact that the defendant is, or at any

relevant time was, the master or person in ch

of any vessel or ship in question;

(i) the fact that the defendant is, or at any relevanı

time was, the owner or agent of any vessel or

ship in question.

All documents whatsoever purporting to be issued

or written by or under the direction of the Port Trust, and

purporting to be signed by the Chairman shall be received as

evidence in all courts and before all persons acting

judicially within Hong Kong, and shall, without proof, be

deemed to have been issued or written by or under the

direction of the Port Trust until the contrary is shown.

(2) In this section the word "documents" includes

demands, orders, notices, statements, or directions.

In relation to any particular matters or class

of matters, or as to any particular part or port of the

Colony, the Port Trust may by writing delegate any of its

powers or functions under this Ordinance (except this

power of delegation) to any officer or employee of the

Port Trust, so that the delegated powers or functions may be
